2020 Fall Baseball Clinics

As a supplement to our Fall Baseball program, Wellesley Youth Baseball is pleased to provide instructional clinics led by popular local coaches to help our “Fall Ballers” enjoy developing skills and playing the great game of baseball!  The sessions will provide age appropriate instruction to help participants learn and develop the proper throwing, pitching, hitting and fielding mechanics.  Sessions will also include games to provide additional instruction in baserunning and team defense.  With instruction and repetition, over the course of our sessions participants will improve these sometimes difficult, but important skills.

The program will be directed by two fantastic local coaches who are dedicated to supporting Wellesley Youth Baseball and community based recreation, Chris Panell & Joe Roberts.  Both have coached Wellesley Little Leaguers at all levels, from directing our K1 programs to coaching our highly competitive Williamsport Tournament teams.  Chris also serves as the 9U and 10U coach for a regional club team, and directs clinics for the Weston, Wayland & Lincoln Sudbury Little League programs.   Joe is a former Boston University Baseball Captain whose Terriers Sports programs have provided a variety of enjoyable, inclusive programs in Wellesley, Needham and Natick since 1991.  Joe & Chris both also serve Community Investors, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the physical and mental health and wellness of youth through School and Community Based Recreation and Enrichment.

The clinics will be offered weekly for grades K & 1, 2 & 3 and 4, 5, & 6. There will be one clinic each week for 4 weeks for each age group. There is no charge, so that means they are FREE! There is a limit to how many kids can attend each clinic, so we are opening registration for the first 2 weeks only and eill then open up registration for the final 2 weeks. We look forward to participants enjoying extremely beneficial and super fun sessions!
